{"id":1366,"date":"2019-04-04T00:10:02","date_gmt":"2019-04-04T00:10:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valmontfarms.com.au\/?page_id=1366"},"modified":"2019-04-04T00:17:17","modified_gmt":"2019-04-04T00:17:17","slug":"booking-payment-and-cancellation-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/valmontfarms.com.au\/index.php\/booking-payment-and-cancellation-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"\ufeffValmont Farms Booking, Payment and Cancellation Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Valmont Farms clinic days and private lessons are run by India Woods.\nIndia is a fully insured, previously EA qualified, equestrian coach.The\nfollowing policy covers all clinics and private lessons held by Valmont Farms.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that Valmont Farms also hosts clinics and lessons held by\nexternal instructors and clinicians who may have additional policies, as\noutlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Valmont Farms clinic and private\nlesson guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By booking a Valmont Farms clinic, event or lesson you agree to the\nfollowing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Abuse (verbal or physical) will not be tolerated\ntowards horses or humans and will result in immediate termination of your\nparticipation with no refunds.<\/li><li>Any enquiries are to be made before completing\nthe booking form on the Valmont Farms website. Payment is required that the\ntime of booking to secure your clinic place or lesson.<\/li><li>Valmont Farms is a working livestock and\ncropping property, subject to standard farm biosecurity requirements. All animals\nentering the property must be healthy and free from any contagious condition.\nVehicles must be driven onto and parked ONLY on the main car park (see site\nplan at end of policy document), and the gate must be shut before unloading\nhorses. Visitors and spectators must remain outside the arena, unless\ninstructed otherwise. Any feed brought onto the property must be contained within\nthe yards and all hay and manure must be picked up and removed from the\nproperty when leaving. Horse drinking water is accessible on site.<\/li><li>ALL vehicles must remain in the designated car park\nunless prior authorisation has been granted. No vehicles are to be parked alongside\nthe arena. All gateways and entrances must be kept clear at all times.<\/li><li>No dogs are to be brought onto the premises.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Valmont Farms clinic and private\nlesson <\/strong><strong>payments and cancellations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment for all clinics and lessons run by Valmont Farms is required at\nthe time of booking. Upon receipt of payment an email will be sent to confirm\nyour booking. Tax invoices can be supplied on request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All private lesson bookings with India can be cancelled up to two weeks\nprior to the lesson for a full refund, or can be rescheduled within one month\nof the original lesson date. Further cancellations of rescheduled lessons will\nnot be refunded or rescheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bookings for a Valmont Farms clinic day, activity or event can be\ncancelled at any time with a minimum of two weeks notice. Fees will not be\nrefunded if cancellation is within two weeks but, attendance can be rescheduled\nwithin one month of the original booking date (can also be transferred to a\nprivate lesson). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cancellations within 48hrs of a lesson or event will not be refunded or\nrescheduled (a human and or veterinary certificate will be required to confirm\na reschedule on a case by case basis).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All payments can be made in advance via the Valmont Farms website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.valmontfarms.com.au\">www.valmontfarms.com.au<\/a> or via direct deposit to India Woods (contact for details) please be sure to add YOUR name to the reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Weather<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Valmont Farms arena and surrounds is a safe outdoor all-weather venue.\nWhile no one is expected to participate in unsafe weather conditions, if the\nevent or lesson is not cancelled directly by Valmont Farms due to weather then\nit will proceed and the above booking, payment and cancellation policy will\napply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For example, if a competition\nproceeds and you choose not to attend due to the weather you would not be\neligible for a refund\u2014 so please do not request one!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the event, clinic or lesson, there may be a bad-weather\nalternative (indoor arena, non-ridden sessions etc). These will be advertised\nwith the clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Extenuating\ncircumstances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All cancellations are viewed on a case-by-case basis. For private\nlessons, if you are injured or unwell India may be able to ride your horse for\nyou. If your horse is unwell you may be able to ride a Valmont Farms school\nhorse. For all other Valmont Farms clinic days and events, the above policy\napplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>External\ninstructors and clinics hosted by Valmont Farms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you areunable to participate, for whatever reason at a clinic or\nlesson hosted by Valmont Farms for which you have previously booked, you are\nsolely responsible for finding a replacement rider. You are also responsible\nfor collecting fees from the replacement rider. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Please note: the instructors or clinicians delivering these clinics\nmay also have their own payment and cancellation policies. It is your\nresponsibility to be aware of any additional instructor or clinician\nstipulations.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many clinics and lessons hosted by Valmont Farms have a waiting list. In this case you will be made aware of potential replacement riders you may contact.
